clutch adjustment?

got a ldv 400 lwb mini bus on a y plate with a 2.5 diesel ford engine and it takes a wee bit of persuading getting it into gear. checked g/b oil...up to level and looked for an adjuster but cant find 1,guessing its self adjusting. drive a transit and thats the same,is it a ford trait at all?
