Mend Renault Megane Gearbox Transmission Automatic

my gearbox?

Ive got a renault megane automatic and just lately when i put it in drive i have to put my foot on the accelerator then theres a couple of seconds delay before it thuds in to gear. Ive been told it needs more transmission fluid which is being done in a few days time but not sure if this will help. Any ideas?????

don't delay suggest that you get tranmission fluid checked asap as you may damage gearbox.
