my er 5215m says register mode closed how do i get back to previous state?

Hi. you need to log yourself back on as an operator. If it has A,B,C,D buttons, press one of those. If it has a CLERK or CLK# buttton, type a logon code (1 by default) and press the clerk button.

answered my own question with some research. a clerk has to be signed on to erase this message. press 1 clerk and it clears this message. Timbo
