i have a 54 ford focus c-max. the boot keeps popping open when driving or when stationary . sometimes have to drive with boot open as it just will not stay shut
you need a new boot release switch/handle [the part you press on the tail gate to open your boot] They get full of water and short out and make your boot open when it wants It is a very common fault
