Mend Danfoss Valve Fitted Main

danfoss thermostatic valve ( bi directional)?

Can the lockshield valve be fitted in either position, the same as the main head, ive had a rad fitted and the lockshield cap is positioned on the side of the valve and all the others ive seen are on the top.
