how can i mend rear door lock for renault clio 03?

Sorry to hijack this but where do you get the plastic clips from? I have a similar issue, but cannot find replacement plastic clips (to attache the rod to the locking unit) anywhere!

It was bit of struggle to get the door handle out but after 40 mins it was all worth it..plus the cuts on my hands!!
Now i have to sort out the leaky sunroof, cleaned the drains which are ok but still getting water near the sunvisor..i am being informed it is the sunroof frame..any ideas out there??

you will need a 20 and 30 torx bit a 10 mm socket and some comen sence remove the door card there is a screw in the handle and one it the grip handle of the door and depending on spec a couple in the bottom. pull the trim out at the bottom and slides off the window trim. remove the 3 screws in the door shut to remove the lock and 2 10 mm nuts in the door handle once removed you will prob find the clip has done undone due to it miss adjusted the clips only push in and twist over. they normaly come off from the metal clip on the handle. this clip only goes one way up and can be adjusted on a ratchet. if a clip has broken speak to a good renault dealer they are usualy available seperatly from the lock. and re assembly. dont put the child lock on or you will be in trouble if you dont adjust hte outer rod correctly. good luck it is very fiddly and unless you have patience and mechanical knolage prob the best get a garage to do it.... if the child lock is on remove the lower part of the seat it just lifts out and will give you more room to get the door card off. and you can open the door by pushing down on the metal rod going to the handle
