were is the water filter ?

I take it you are talking about a washing machine , Turn off and Unplug from the mains, pull your machine out and lean back so as to gain access to the underneath needs 2 people you will find the filter, release spring clip and then take out the plug .
have a bowl and cloth handy as there will be water inside.

Or if you have a more moden machine their is a flap at the front at bottom which comes down, and you just unscrew filter, have a bowl and cloth handy as there will be water inside.
