Vauxhall Zafira Central Locking?

My wife's Zafira nearside rear door will not lock when the central locking is activated. All the other doors lock .Any ideas?

hi my central locking locked on its own when i was in the car now it want work i have to lock the doors by putting the buttons down and then lock drivers door with key then interer lights come on and dont go off has eney one got some ideas thanks

I'm having the same problem central locking and electric windows on both rear doors not working. my problem is due to the doors opening and closing on the wiring coming into the doors. it's a common fault that can be resolved by soldering in new pieces of wire. hope this helps!!

wiring between front and rear doors could be shorting out causing your fuses to trip. i had the same problem with my x-reg zafira and since having the wiring fixed, the problem is now solved.

Same thing happened with mine, tried fuses and everything but in the end i had to take take it to an auto electrician, I had to pay nearly £300 to have a new ECU it was burnt out. But now i can't get none of my 2 remote controls to lock or unlock the car, i have to do it with a key. Any ideas anyone?

currently experienced the opposite problem with an 03 1.8 comfort zafira could not lock it - for some reason the 20A fuse tripped and required changing. However the problem has reocurred for the second time within 2 weeks - changed fuse now ok. Electrical problem somewhere I think - lokkining for answers myself.

Could be a fuze. Look in your handbook to see which fuse controls Central Locking.
