the button for the blade will not work when pulled for my yard pro lawn tra?

I have a yard pro ( van guard by briggs and Stratton)
20 HP 50 inch cut riding lawn tractor and the blade will not work when i pull the button up, actually it does not work at all. How do i fix it.

It sounds like you have an electric clutch to engage the blades. It could be a wiring issue, or the clutch may be bad.
