Mend Porter Cable 333 Model Wrong Turned

How can I fix my Porter Cable Model 333 sander?

What's wrong with my sander? My Porter Cable 5" model 333 sander when turned on will run fast, then slow, then stop all by itself. I contacted Porter Cable/Dewalt/Skill they sent a reply which read: "we don't know". Do you have any idea what is going on with my sander?

Finally found the answer to my own question. Bearings. There are three in the machine. The one just above the disk pad needs replacing.
