Mend Vax V-022 Clean Water Flow

how do i get the clean water to flow?

i am trying to get the clean water and added solution to flow in our vax model v-022. the tank is full and when removed the spring valve when depressed seems to work fine. once the tank is replaced and the water release trigger is operated nothing happens i.e no water released
