DW708 12" SLIDING COMPOUND REMOVE PLUG BUSHING?

I NEED TO REMOVE THE BUSHING HOLDING THE POWER CORD TO THE SAW...I DONT WANT TO BREAK THE BUSHING OUT..IS THERE ANOTHER WAY OF REMOVING THE BUSHING SO I CAN REUSE IT?
