It sounds like your pendulum is out of kilter so to speak. If you look at the workings from the side you will see that the pendulum, works a lever which in turn operates the escapement. Obviously when the clock was being transported for 150 miles it suffered a shock of some sort which possibly affected the position of the pendulum in relation to the lever. Try to realign the lever to the pendulum, (trial & error) until the clock will work in the fully upright position. Baybe next time you should remove the pendulum when in transit.
