water in rear footwell?

I have a Renault megen 2001reg it is collecting water in the drivers side rear footwell any surgestions

feel if the bottom of the inner door panel is wet look for the drain HOLES in the bottom of the inner door skin , poke ALL HOLES clean with a stiff piece of wire.
if water floods out problem solved .

Yeah your door seals are damadged, or worn, door seals is what keeps the rain and water out, its the rubber bit that goes round the door, water can leak in and make a puddle there
