Removed cistern top from new style dual flush toilet for decoration. On replacement found that cistern fills but continues to empty into toilet. Hasn't got an old style ballcock which I understood. How is the valve closed off on new stlye dual flush?
take the top off again if stops flushing the lid is catching something. the new shpions twist out 1/4 turn lift out moke sure there is nothing stuck under it then refitt, and see what happens.
