Renault Megane boot lock unlocks itself and opens 06?
My Renault Megane boot seems to unlatch itself when statonary or about to pull away it is an intermmittent fault but is getting worse.
We shut the boot then here the latch open as if we've pressed to boot latch to open it ourselves. It also does it when you use the central locking button. Once slammed shut it works again. Sometimes it wont open at all... please dont tell me to take it to a garage or dealer, if I was going to do that I wouldnt be asking this question here ;-)
Got the same problem but with my 07 clio dynamique 1.4, also when i turn the hazards come on?

hi lee im a renault tech the best and cheapest thing to do is to go and buy a tailgate switch from your local renault garage and replace it youself... its nice and simple to do all you need is a flate blade screwdriver to pop the switch out them just clip the new one in. this fault is most common with the megane cc but can also occure on other models... let me know how it goes...
