brocken macerator?

Hi. Not the nicest job to do but you can do it quite easily.
Get your hands on a "wet n dry " vacuum and firstly empty the pan.
When you are satisfied that it's really empty. unplug the macerator and remove it [carefully!!!] from the back of the pan, trying not to allow any spillage.
You can cover the inlet pipe [110mm] with a plastic bag and rubber bands to hold it in place.
Take the macerator to where you can clean it, I would suggest the nearest manhole which serves your property.
There are three or four screws on the top of the macerator which you will need to unscrew to expose the inside. Once youv'e got the top off, you can tip the contents into the manhole and flush it away with a hosepipe.
You can then clean the insides of the macerator with the hosepipe till it's like new.
