Samsung Stainless Fridge/Freezer damaged defrosting?

My daughter thought she was helping by defrosting the freezer box in our large fridge freezer. She used a knife to help release the softened remaing ice from the side walls but has pierced the lining in several places.

Does anybody know if it is possible for me to repair? I thought about some type of filler or strong adhesive tape but wonder if anything will work at the freezer temperature.

Any help appreciated!!
