my citroen xsara brake stop warning light keeps flashing and beeping what could be the problem doesnt seem to be anything wrong with brakes though

Citroen Citroen Xsara Vehicles, Cars Brake Warning Light

I wish I knew! My stop light on the dash comes on too. The temperature gauge shows normal then suddenly drops to zero and the stop comes on. I turn up the heat and put on the blowers and it returns to normal and the light goes out!?!?!? Any idea whats up, anyone!
