The Logil LDVR 1608 ?

When watching the freeview through the unit the picture appears to flicker and have some kind of interference on it. I have used many different scarts and tried the Video out socket through a side port on the TV and it is still there. It goes when I play a DVD. It seems worse when watching a light or colourful background on a programme.
