I have a samsung tv that all of a sudden won't switch on ?

My Samsung Plasma tv all of a sudden decided not to turn on - the on/off switch just keeps blinking on and off. In looking at soem of the questions it seems there is a way to fix this yourself as it seems to be a common problem - where can i see how to do this?
