canon i560?

Why are my new yellow and red ink cartridges soaking up the ink from one of the other colours. I've replaced all the ink cartridges and its happened again. The printer is just over a year old.

sounds as if one or more inks have leaked at some point in to the resvoire in the back of the printer take it to a computer shop and get them to look at it.
it really is a 5 minute job but the cover has to come off and the sponges washed out and put back in.
whats happend is the sponges are full causing ink to back feed to the cartridges. if you do a google search you should get some good info type somthing like(why is my printer losing ink).
