I have aquired a Klik wall clock but its stopped working.If i replace batte?

I have aquired a Klik wall clock but its stopped working.If i replace battery then immediately the time advances by 4 hours then stops,always coming to rest on the hour ie:- 12.00,4.00, 8.00 and back to 12.00..There is no apparent adjustment ie;- reset buttons or wheels.Any suggestions to get the clock working again?Thanks in anticipation.
