Mend B&Q Replace Removed Blade

How do i replace my chop saw guard ?

I removed my blade guard to replace the blade and can not remember how to replace it. It is a B&Q compound saw It has a spring and plate but I dont know how the spring fits in to make the guard move back and forth. The saw is about 6 years old
