dryer tripping switch at main box and wont work at all?

It has an electrical fault and needs attention.

The trip, if it takes out all the power in the house will be the RCD and will be caused by a leakage of mains power to earth - a short somewhere.

One way to diagnose the failing component - if it's not easily visible - is to disconnect each component in turn until the fault goes away.

A specialist appliance engineer will be able to track the fault down relatively quickly. Do not attempt to use it until it's fixed - there's a safety issue.
