QUESTION.. i've located the fuse, and have tested it has gone
BUT a few people reccomend this fuse from Maplin, but i noted that teh one from maplin is a metal one, not ceramic, as per the original....is the metal fuse not going to cause problems as it will earth itself against the casing, changing the way the circuit board works?

I realise this is nearly a year ago but I cant see where the thermal fuse is located....could you give me a bit more description of its location?

i found the problem to be a 2amp thermal fuse housed underneath the blower housing, it has 2 cross head screws holding it on, remove the plug first. 79p to replace from maplins!
