Mend Ford Mondeo Mark 2 1999 Bought

How can I replace my rear bumper on my 1999 Ford Mondeo Mark 2?

I have damaged my 1999 Ford Mondeo Mark 2 rear bumper and have bought another with the intention of replacing myself. I have taken off all external fixings around the bumper, however am now trying to remove the rear wheel arch protector and the plastic screws which hold the cover above the wheel are just turning and not loosening. Has anyone got any pearls of wisdom of how to take off the bumper and attach a new one??! Thank you!

hi i believe the screws are not screws but push in studs , i have had this problem with other cars , screwdriver and croc pliars shoild pull them out , i have to fix my mondeo bumper too but i am going to araldite some plastic behind the crack ie old cred card , then fill and paint
