Loss of suction?

I have a DC04 & i washed the blue filter by mistake will this reduce the suction

No but it will put a strain on the motor you dont have to replace it with another Hepa filter you can use a standerd one instead its much cheaper

may sure the filter is 100% dry before refitting
check the sole plate hose for splits or detachment also change the filter that sits under the bin container .
