You need to check the thermostat and heating element. It could be the thermostat has just tripped and may be able to be reset. If it has burned out then you will need to replace it. With regards to the heating element if it has burned out then there are usually visible signs that this has happened. There are various places on this site for ordering replacement parts recommended by other people. If you decide you have the skills to check these parts then just ensure you disconnect from the power supply before opening the machine. You will need an AVO meter for the thermostat to check if the circuit is okay (closed). If it is showing as being open take it off the machine and look at the back of it. There should be a small hole that if you push gently into it with a pin or similar sized object it might reset it (listen for the click). If you hear this recheck the thermostat to make sure it has worked. The AVO meter will read zero if the thermostat has been reset. This might make the difference between buying a new thermostat or not.
