my lamona dishwasher HJA8630 is not draining?

My lamona dishwasher has a fault on the door closer it is not closing just keeps falling down

the small door where you place the dishwasher tablet will not stay shut it has worked perfectly for the last 2 years but i now have to open the dishwasher and place the tablet i nside after about 20 minutes

The dish washer doesn't dry the dishes. After the cycle the dishes are still wet.
Can you advise on cause if possible ?

i had the same problem, there was a one way valve at the end of the machines waste outlet pipe that was blocked. I cleared this and its been fine ever since.

Hi, I`ve just found your question because we had the same problem !
In the manual it will explain how to change from one programme to another. It also tells you to hold down the "start/pause" switch for about 3 seconds until the arrow light flashes & then shut the door.
This will then drain the machine for 45 seconds (I did ours twice). We`ve since used the machine a couple of times and it all seems ok.
