What does a red light on a procombi 85 he boiler mean?

to add these 2 switches are there for a reason but the reason is for regulating the heat flow the boiler is not designed for max heats its designed for moderate heat if this is left on for say a week this is the fault and can reduce the efficiency of the boiler

hi just repaired the same problem for my sister did some online tech stuff and found out that if you have the regulators on max that is the 2 dials at either
side of the big switch if it is on max then this causes heat intensity and fault is coherent with say if a kettle gets too hot turn these down to say half way this will regulate the heat in the water flow and allow you to have hot not boiling water

try changing thermistors if dos not work then pcb gone need replacing quit exp.

hi chris, never mind about paying extotionate fees to have a minor problem sorted out, ive just had same prob it is your air / presure flow it will cost you about £5. for a presure switch

the red light means its overheating we have had the same problem for 3 weeks plumber has tried 3 times to fix with no success
