Ebac 2200e Dehumifdifier fails to work?

I have a Ebac 2200e dehumidifier tha is about 9 years old. when I apply mains no lights now show on the PCB panel. The fan motor does not run, but there is a quiet clunking noise from the area of the compressor. Any suggestions as to what may be the fault?

Further to the above, I have now eliminated the PCB and, by linking some terminals on the socket, got the beast working. As I can't afford to buy a new PCB, I'll make do with my "repair". Unless anyone has a spare PCB I could have? :-)
