Frigidaire dishwasher rinse aide not emptying in dishwasher? ?

I have a frigidaire energy star dishwasher installed in my new home purchased three years ago. The first few months I used it I had to fill the rinse aide several times. Now it reads "full" and will not except any more liquid. It has been this way for over two years. The rinse aid does not seem to be emptying into washer.
