SONY RDR HXD 560 80GB WILL NOT RECORD SOME SKY CHANNELS?

WHEN I TRY TO RECORD FROM SKY ON ANY OF THE NON TERRESTRIAL CHANNELS, I GET THE NOTATION - THIS IMAGE CANNOT BE RECORDED-AND ON PLAYBACK, ALL I GET IS A WHITE SCREEN.I HAVE ALREADY RESET THE UNIT TO FACTORY SETTINGS BUT THIS HAS NOT DONE THE TRICK.ANY IDEAS PLEASE
