Mend Scantronic 9834 Alarm Panel Power

Scantronic 9834?

Upon moving into our new home the alarm panel (Scantronic 9834) showed a Sr fault (total power failure). The battery was replaced as the unit had a note on it saying new battery required. The control panel now shows power and button B on. I have a copy of the user manual but do not have the original access number so I cannot access any functions- Can anyone help?

Because Mark if you lived in my district i could help you but since you obviously dont need any, dont worry.
Your have to call a company out which will cost you about £150 as your probably a non-contracted customer,
Maybe this will teach you not to diss an engineer who is trying to help you.

Umm..poor Mark.... Im curious too...... why do you need to know where I live???

Umm poor Mark, I went to a customers house today that had an odd fault similiar to yours. A lot of engineers set these up as engineer reset, that may not be the reason though,
Im curious where you are, But what you have is a great panel and im sure your problem can be resolved easily.
