How do I clean a Mira 415 shower head?

I unscrewed the shower head from the hose then used a sewing
needle to unclog all the holes. I then gave the shower head a good clean.

Thank you for explaining how to get the actual shower head off by screwing it anticlockwise. This is after removing the outer ring. This enabled me to access the inside of the rubber disc to clean all the holes and reseat the rubber rings.

My shower was struggling to get the water through the rubber outer ring on the hot setting causing the overheat light to come on. I tried soaking the whole head in vinegar but it did not work. I have no taken the head apart thanks to this article and cleaned out the tiny holes with a pin. should now work.

I've got the Mira Eco showerhead and needed to clean it as it was leaking around the sides of the showerhead.
You need to pull off the outer ring as described below but then don't lever or pull off the spray head (I did this and broke a plastic securing nut). Instead turn the spray head anti clockwise and it unscrew from the body of the shower head.
You then then pull apart the spray head for cleaning. The shower head can be disc-assembled by unscrewing the screw in the centre of the head (where I broke the securing nut / washer).
Reverse the process to reassemble using some silicon grease on the o rings.

This is a belated answer that may not help the original author but may help someone in the future.

I think my Mira shower head is a Mira Logic and it's built into the wall with a type of joint for movement. The head looks similar to the 415.

I took it apart by pulling off the outer ring (normally used to adjust the type of jet) which hides the fact its in two halves. This came off easily I think I just twisted and pulled it towards myself.

You can then clearly see it's in two moving halves
Then I got a flat head screwdriver and inserted it between the moving two halves and twisted.

A little click on two sides and it came apart. You can then clean it.

Dear frustrated shower head cleaners,
It is the limescale that is blocking your shower head nozzles that is preventing you from dismantling your shower heads.
Try this solution to your troubles...
Remove the shower head from its hose.
Pour vinegar or other anti-limescale product into the shower head and leave it to soak. (Follow any safety intructions associated with the anti-limescale product).
Flush the shower head prior to dismantling or re-fitting the shower head.

Um, well I can tell you the first step: you grab the outer ring and pull it off forwards. When you know that it is possible it is fairly straightforward. The ring clips onto the handset part with strong clips: they're not easily breakable, so just pull. You might need to turn it to a different position to make it easier, but it does just come off.

Once removed you can see that the part with the nozzles in and the handset separately. However... I have never got any further than this. Whatever I've tried to pull the nozzle plate out of the handset doesn't work. Given the design of the clips on the ring part, I'd guess the nozzle plate has something similar, but I can't work out how to free it.

I have the same problem. Mine is a MIRA combiforce 415 BIR. Manuals suggest that the shroud around the showerhead comes in two halves -which mine does not! I can't see how this would have been fitted (why do people throw away manuals/instructions?). Online manuals also suggest turning a lockring on the showerhead anticlockwise and then pulling the nozzles away for cleaning -doesn't work with mine!
If anyone knows or can find a link, I'd be grateful!

It may be an eco handset in that case all you need to do is rub the tips of the jets while running the shower to dislodge limescale from behind the jets.
I think if you have to the round showerhead can be twisted off anticlockwise to release the sprayplate from the handset.
