Mend Machine Thread Replaced

How can I fix my serger?

Fabric is not being pulled through the machine, getting stuck and the thread balls all up. I replaced the cutting blade and it looks like I placed it in the exact position as the other blade...could this be the cause of the fabric not going through and the threads balling up? When I run the machine without the fabric, the thread pulls through perfectly and it looks like the looping is fine.

Hello Jean,
Usually if the thread is balling up underneath it is a tension problem, if you can't get it right by adjusting the tensions the best thing with a serger is to get it in for repair.
