Can you buy a thermostat kit for a Zanussi tumble dryer zde 57140w? ?
We have tested our thermostat on the dryer as it was just blowing cold air. It seems one of the thermostat's is open circuit. After doing some initial research it seems for this model you can only buy the thermostat as a whole unit with the heating element? This is obviously a lot more expensive than just having to pay for a thermostat kit. Any ideas?
Thank you very much for your response. It is the stat with the red dot on it. It has written on it 125 degrees c. type 281/pb. Any ideas where I could get this from? Rather than having to pay out 60.00 for a whole new heater element.

If its the stats mounted to the back of the heater then yes you have to replace the whole heater.you can buy stats but its wether you can get the correct heat degree value and someone would have to find a part number for it as they are not listed as a spare part by zanussi
