Mend Peugeot Speedfight 2 Battery Scooter Charging

my battery goes flat on speedfight 2?

i left my sppedfight 2 for about 3 weeks and battery went flat i charged it and after useing it for acouple of days it went flat again so i have changed and cleaned battery terminal replaced battery and replaced reculator and still goes flat after a couple of days only when you use the bike dont go flat if you do use it

My bike does the same i got a brand new battery charged it fully and after a day its deal well I'm guessing it is as the light flicker and they are dim and the rear light flickers so guessing it's dead. Is it the generator ? If so where do you find this

to check that you need the bike running and check the current in ac that the generator is creating with a multimeter and there also should be continuity between the charging wire from the generator i think they are either 2 yellow or 2 white on that machine.

how can i tell if the alternator was gone

then its not the battery its the charging system thats at fault as the bikes ignition system is draining the battery when its running

my bike as a after market cdi non immobaliser battery only goes flat when engines running doesnt go flat when left standing

If not battery you have a drain on it. I would suspect your cdi/ immobaliser as these run when bike is off and will kill your battery. Before getting a new one get it checked out cause they are not cheap.

If you battery is more than a few years old it is more than likely the battery thats at fault. I would get a new one.
Good news it is being charged when you run bike. Shop around though battery prices can vary a lot. Check the back of motorcycle news.
