hi i have a ford transit 55 plate t280 central locking works fine on the key in the door have tried turning the ignition on 8 times in 10 seconds but the doors do not lock and unlock for me to program the remote anyone have a answer

tried this but stiil does not work apparently you have do disarm the alarm first and recycle the locks by turning the ignition on to position 2 8 times the locks should lock and then unlock but they do not do this anyone have the answer

lock the van and with the keyfob near the window, press the 'LOCK' button and hold for 30 seconds.
try unlocking the van with the keyfob, if it doesn't, unlock the van with the key and press the 'UNLOCK' button for 30 seconds. I just cannot remember which way the vehicle has to be, (Locked or unlocked), but this should recode the fob.
