white knight cl43 not working?

there is a plastic peg on the inner door frame which presses a micro switch through the front cabinet.if this has broken off it will do as you say.you can manually push the micro switch through the hole in the front cabinet with a plastic implement.keep people away from the drum as it will start to rotate with the door open if this is the issue
