this morning wipers had snow on tried them and they tried to move, now they have thawed out but still don,t work. car is 2006 berlingo multispace, checked fuse and replaced although it seemed ok
yes can move by hand but some resistance i don,t think they have come off spindle may have to visit citroen dealer on tues.

Can you move the wipers by hand? The arms may have come loose on the spindle when you over-loaded them. You might need new arms if you have stripped the teeth.
