switch clock from military to standard time?

This question needs an answer from somebody who either has a copy of the User Guide or who knows how to do it without reference to the manual.

They will need to know the Make/Model to be able to help you.

The "problem" you report is not necessarily limiting your enjoyment of the equipment.
