c905 playback audio fault?

Hi - everytime I press the number 4 on my sony ericsson c905 it comes up with 'playback audio through speakers? yes/no/back and then won't let me type the letter GHI or the number 4 - can't text or call!! help!

i had this problem and found an easy and cheap solution to the problem, its a common fault with these handsets which sony will charge a small fortune to repair when you can quite easily do it yourself.
