vauxhall cigarette lighters are different in interior design, therefor normal plugin things like phone chargers will not work.
the only thing I can suggest is to change the whole unit for a standard one.

it could be the fuse or the element have you tried to use the socket with something else just to see if it is still powered? if it is then you need a replacement element from a vauxhall garage if not check the fuse
