how can i enter a radio code into a renault scenic megane?

how do i enter the radio code into a renault scenic megane?

i took my car to the garage to get a new engine and they disconnected the battery and now when i turn my radio on, it says CODE and 4 0's come up and i dont know how to type the code in. i tried pressing the numbers but it dnt work. and the code button doesnt work.

Renault Audio, In-Car Audio Renault Garage Engine

Use the control stick on the steering column, use the scrolling disc to go up through the digits and then press one of the buttons on the top to select the next digit, once you have entered them all in press and hold one of the buttons on the top of the remote for a couple of secs and it will beep, job done.
