Mend Panasonic Power Plasma Picture

My TV turned off and the power indicater light just blinks?

I have a Panasonic hd plasma tv.
It just turned off with no picture or sound.
the red power indicater light continually blinks. I can't turn it on manually or with the remote control. I tried unplugging it and changing the batteries in the remote.
