Sony GX210 will not finalise dvd+r disc ?

Transfering recording from Sony HDD camcorder. It will not finalise disc, tried 3 different discs. Ejects disc and says disc unreadable

I have had the same problem transferring a video tape onto DVD. It records fine and it's the right type of disk, the correct speed and everything, however when i go to finalize the disk, it says i fails to finalize which then means the disk cannot be played on any other machine other than that one
