I have a triton norina thermostatic mixer shower. After about a year it becomes extremely stiff to turn on but its ok to turn off. I have had 2 replacement bodies in the past couple of years and its happening again.

Hi, I was having the same problem on an all mains (ie balanced) water system. I dismantled and regreased it at least twice but it failed again within several months.
Eventually got fed up with it so junked it and fitted a better quality Aqualisa. Not had a problem since!

you need the flow regulators in place if you are running off a combi boiler.

Hi there I am having the same problem in a way the control flow , is becomming extreamly hard to turn on and its only 2 months old this has to be a design fault any suggestions ?

Same problem. The only way I can get it to work is not to try and turn it on in one movement but to judder it on and off in stages. It moves a little further on each time.
Probably the real cause is something to do with unbalaced pressure between the hot and cold supplies?

It may have something to do with water pressure. Try turning the hot tap on full in your wash hand basin then turn the shower on before turning the tap off.
