Mend Renault Megane Work Changed

How can I get my Renault Megane onboard computer to work fully again?

I recently had the tensioner and belts changed on my 1990 Renault Megane Coupe Sport. Since then the computer has stopped displaying the mpg & miles left before refueling. Any ideas to what might have gone wrong and how to sort it?
